Terms

Last updated 1 September 2026

These terms cover using Blobly, hosting events on it, and attending events through it.

01Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Blobly you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you use Blobly on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation to these terms.

02Your account

  • You must confirm you are 18 or older, or provide a parent or guardian's consent.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password safe.
  • One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone.
  • Usernames are unique and first come, first served. We may reclaim a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or is being squatted.

03If you host events

As an organiser you are responsible for the event you publish. That means:

  • The event is real, the details are accurate, and you have the right to run it at the venue and time stated.
  • You handle attendee data lawfully. Blobly gives you names, emails, answers and check-in status so you can run the event — not so you can market unrelated products.
  • You honour what you sold. If you cancel, you deal fairly with people who registered.
  • Custom questions must not request more than you need, and must not request sensitive data you have no lawful basis to hold.

Event URLs are unique and permanent while the event exists. Changing an event's URL releases the old one, and it may then be claimed by someone else.

04If you attend events

  • Your registration and your check-in QR code are personal to you. Don't share the code — anyone holding it can check in as you.
  • Registering creates an obligation to the organiser, not to Blobly. Cancel if you can't make it, so your place goes to someone else.
  • Blobly is not the organiser of any event and is not responsible for what happens at one.

05Payments

Blobly does not currently process payments. No payment gateway is connected. Where an event or a plan shows an amount, that amount is a record of what is owed — nothing is charged through Blobly, and no card details are collected.

Paid plans are arranged directly with us by email. Payment for paid events is settled between the organiser and the attendee. When a payment provider is connected, these terms will be updated before any charge is taken.

06Content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant Blobly a licence to host, store, resize and display that content for the purpose of running the service — showing your event page, delivering your artwork, and rendering your profile.

Don't upload content you don't have the rights to.

07Acceptable use

Don't use Blobly to:

  • Run fraudulent events, or collect money for something that will not happen.
  • Harass, threaten or endanger anyone.
  • Publish illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Scrape, overload or attempt to breach the service or other people's accounts.
  • Circumvent capacity limits, coupon rules, access codes or check-in.

We may suspend or remove accounts, events and calendars that break these rules.

08Availability

Blobly is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we don't promise uninterrupted service, and features may change. Where an integration is not configured, the affected part of the product will say so rather than behave unpredictably.

09Liability

To the extent the law allows, Blobly is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from an event you organised or attended. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10Ending your account

You can stop using Blobly at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Events with existing registrations are cancelled rather than silently deleted, so attendees are not left without notice.
